I'm Isabel.
A young designer out here exploring honest and authentic design, bridging the gap between art, communication and storytelling. My work strives to connect people, whether that be to an experience, a space, or to themselves. My practice focuses on helping people and places to thrive in ways which they may never have thought were possible.

Sincerely Yours,

Sincerely Yours,
Through every misspelled word, watermark and doodle, the emotion and time you put into drafting the letter is expressed. Handwritten letters have permanence, whereas electronic messages are automatically deleted after a certain amount of time and vanish into the internet cloud. There is something warm, something comfortable, about opening that dusty shoebox under your bed only to find the “good luck” letter grandma sent to you on your first day out in the real world.

A brand focused around the love of handwritten letters. A personal projected inspired by the beautiful letters in which my Grandparents would write to each-other.

Practical Action

Practical Action
Climate Change, a hot topic that has flooded our media since 2007, although the mechanism of global warming may not be big news, the projected impact on our future is often what makes the headlines.
The endless instagram posts, news articles and videos flood our social media platforms calling us to rethink the way in which we have been living. The Art Gallery of NSW is looking for a young designer to raise awareness around the topic of Climate Change. Bridging the gap between awareness and action.
It's pretty evident today, the way in which we communicate climate change, whether that be through articles, media, post, conversation with family and friends - is fundamentally flawed. With the constant flood of information and current doom and gloom narrative, it really is no wonder we are left feeling more anxious than ever.

How might we change the narrative of Climate change to a positive one?

Introducing the Exhibition, Practical Action. An exhibition centred around creating positive conversation about climate change.
