I am a designer who creates both practical and aesthetic design solutions. Within my practice, the mediums of design, art and writing serve as a means of communicating stories and ideas.
As a graduate from a Bachelor of Communication Design at Billy Blue College of Design in Sydney, my strengths are creating new design concepts, illustration and brand identity. I see the world through a lens of empathy and curiosity and am always on the hunt for creative inspiration. My designs are bold, impactful and reflective.
As a dedicated reader of Frankie magazine, I was familiar with their promotional videos which combine stills with cute and quirky animations. To strengthen my animation and video editing skills, I decided to create a mock promotional video for a new issue of Frankie.
The video is a mix of old content featured in past issues of Frankie and their website. My own illustration and imagined Frankie article ideas are thrown in for good measure!
The brief was to choose a fast-moving consumer product and find a way to improve its design. I designed Starlite’s Granola Cookies to fill a gap in the market for multipack biscuits with eco-friendly packaging and high nutritional value. The vibrant, playful designs are targeted at pre-school and primary school children.
