Hi! I'm Geraldine and very happy to submit a couple of my projects to Billy Blue Intro. I’ve always loved interior design and simply believe that good design makes life better. Guiding people to discover the potential of their space and helping them to create their ideal sanctuary is a great way to spend a day.
The brief for the renovation of this 'semi in the sky' art deco period apartment, was to respect the architecture of the building whilst leveraging the abundance of natural light, keeping the space functional and maintaining the feeling of spaciousness. This was well and truly achieved with a contemporary nod to its timeless art deco heritage. The laundry room was combined with the kitchen space and walls gently opened up to the balcony to create a lovely indoor/outdoor room that allows light to flood into the key living areas. The bathroom became a true sanctuary for the owner providing that 'spa' feeling every time it was used.
The Design Concept for Kobn Textiles flagship Sydney store respects the architecture of the building that has come before, but brings clean lines and contemporary elements to create a journey of discovery through the space, providing an earthy and beautifully curated environment for beautiful products to shine. The design concept supports the key elements that emerged from the client brief and discussions - clean lines | earthy | unexpected | curated | sustainable.
The mood board for the Retail & Hospitality areas on the ground floor reflects warm and earthy textures, whilst the mood for the first floor office space reflects a bright, white, light and airy feel to support and nurture this creative space.
