I am a qualified Interior Designer and Stylist.
I specialise in residential and holiday rental design and styling and my design aesthetic is predominantly a blend of contemporary and post modern. Clean lines, calm space, natural light. I work with clients to balance function and form and make the best use of their space to reflect individuality and personal style. I am immediately likeable, personable and professional and I engage with clients to explore and interpret their design aesthetic to transform their space to meet their needs.

Frederick Street Airbnb Renovation

The focus of the redesign and renovation of this 1970's Surfers Paradise airbnb apartment was to create a fresh, light, breezy space that brings calm and comfort to its holidaymakers.

Whilst structural changes were not permitted, space and light were enhanced by removing kitchen cabinetry and applying microcement flooring throughout, creating a cloud like feel. A newly installed large gas strut window opens over a breakfast bar and treats guests to an unexpected ocean view straight down the street.

Furniture selections and furnishings align with the softness of the space and oversized artwork adds surprise.

Commercial Concepts & Interior Styling Projects

Concept Design Commercial 1
The Gundy Collective,
Gallery and Community Space, inspired by customised
screens that can be fitted to windows. The effect of the light shining
through is an artwork in its own right. Given the northerly aspect
and the flood of daylight throughout the day, a custom design of
an indigenous dot painting created by local indigenous artists would
be a simple and effective way to showcase design using natural elements

Concept design commercial 2:
THE VALLEY BOWL
The brief for this project was to work within the constraints of an inner city vacant block in the laneways of Fortitude Valley and produce a design concept that combined a commercial and community space. Inspired by House of Vans in London, my concept reflects the urban surrounds, the industrial working class era and the hipster vibe of the Valley. The Valley Bowl is an indoor community skatepark and cafe.
