Alessandro has been working and experimenting with design for the last 21 years. He loves observing human behaviour and understanding natural interactions that could influence design. He is fascinated by technology and in his free time, you can find him speculating about the future.
He started losing sleep with 3D, Flash and Photoshop. After working in various agencies in Europe, he moved to China where he spent 5 years working in product and R&D.
For the last 11 years, Alessandro has been living in the Northern Beaches with the dream of surfing and drinking coffee on Manly beach. Unfortunately, he realised that the bills didn't pay themselves and he worked for Orbitz ( now Expedia), NBN, Canon, Deloitte, Macquarie Bank, NTT and Westpac.
Above all, he is a proud dad, a reader and an aspiring philosopher.
This project tries to bring back the etymological meaning of consistency as the modern interpretation is often confused with cognitive consistency. The idea is that consistency is mostly perceived as a human way to measure the world but in design, consistency should be used consciously because if abused it will limit creativity and discovery. Above all, misuse of consistency will shift the focus from the user to the product, and the result is never good.
